Jasper Oliver
Jasper Oliver is currently a fourth-year undergraduate psychology student at Virginia Commonwealth University and is on track to graduate with a Bachelors of Science and concentration in pre-graduate school in August 2024. They are currently volunteering as a research assistant with the Center for Evidence-Based Partnerships under Dr. Michael Southam-Gerow and Dr. Rafaella Sale. They are also a volunteer research assistant at the Virginia Institute for Psychiatric and Behavioral Genetics working on the Deployment Experiences and Health study under Dr. Christina Sheerin-Smith. Their research interests include complex trauma and dissociative disorders as well as exploring how to make trauma-informed mental health care accessible to all. They will be applying to clinical psychology PhD programs in fall 2024. In their free time, they enjoy hiking and spending time with their husband and four pets.
