Needs Assessment & Gaps Analysis

The Needs Assessment Gaps Analysis (NAGA) project is an approach used by CEP-Va to inform our state partners in their effort to implement an optimal array of evidence-based services for families in Virginia’s Family First Prevention Plan. NAGA differs from typical needs assessments in that it is designed as an ongoing process of data collection and verification, serving both to fulfill specific requests (e.g., expand services) and to detect contextual barriers known to undermine such large-scale efforts. CEP-Va constructed a developmental sequence of investigatory phases, where each phase provides data to inform the next. Annual reports documenting NAGA findings:
